A large number of NERF guns use a "rod" to hold darts in place before firing. This includes any gun that uses a revolving cylinder (HammerShot, Maverick, etc.), a shell (SledgeFire, BarrelBreak, etc.), a belt (Vulcan, etc.), and all single/multi shot guns with manual reload (Jolt, Firestrike, Roughcut, etc.).
Basically, any gun that isn't fed by a clip.
The issue is that these rods, which do literally nothing but hold the dart in place, are about 5/16" too long to allow the use of any of the Glow-in-the-Dark darts, as their heads are slightly longer inside the foam bodies.
I'm requesting that shortening the rod to allow the use of the Glow darts be an allowed modification.
Thank you for your consideration.
